Examining children (Mutter-Kind-Pass)
To obtain the mother-child passport, two ophthalmological examinations are required. The first examination, for babies between 10 and 14 months of age, may also be performed by a pediatrician. The second exam, for children between 22 to 26 months in age, must be performed by a certified ophthalmologist.
